The presentation, entitled “Coexistence Versus Convergence: Digital Signage, Interactive Applications and Their Future”, is scheduled for Tuesday, November 10th, 2009 at 10:30 a.m., EST. The panel, entitled “The 5 W’s of Advertising on a Venue’s DOOH Network” will take place Wednesday, November 11, 2009 from 11:45 – 12:45 p.m. at the Jacob Javits Center in New York.
The presentation will focus on the future convergence of digital signage and interactive applications, such as kiosks. Mr. Goldberg will discuss the important ways both approaches help impart information to consumers, employees and others, and outline the reasons why both tools remain separate technologies today and why true convergence is unlikely. In this session you will also learn:
- The fundamental differences between digital signage and interactive applications
- What each approach can learn from the other
- Where the boundaries for convergence are likely to be and why
- How all of this impacts decision-making and infrastructure
Panelists for the “5 W’s of Advertising” include Rob Hoyt, Retail Concept Manager, Seventh Generation; and Leslie Armour, President, Youth Marketing Group for Tween Brands and The Tween Network.
